Kinda cool that the demand for Tsuburaya’s Ultraman has made the company partner with Netflix in creating a more westernized version of the most popular tokusatsu franchise of all time!

Featured here are our local Ultraman cosplayers, Sharivan Spark RX and Joren Rivas Selda. These bad boys were captured by Nikoshinn before their Team Sinag Cosplay skit at MTC 2023.

We hear that their skit was so good, Masahiro Inoue stepped out of the foreign artist rest area to watch.

JAPANIGHT+ is an expansion of Exosia Project and OtaCute Event DAO's JAPANIGHT, a cosplay and anime indoor music festival. It is a place for cosplayers, anime lovers, and AniKura fans (anime club music) to connect and party!

With JAPANIGHT+, the event plans to expand into introducing not just AniKura and electronic music, but also idol and band performances for the live music experience. Idol groups NIKOLA, YUMESHOU, and solo idol Cess are set to perform for the event.

For band performances, you can catch SKYGARDEN, as well as the online Battle of the Bands winners Asian College Dropouts and Yomari.

Virtual talents Jacki3, Gemi9, and Ru VII of RE:NEGADE are also joining the lineup with a special performance.

And if you're in it for the night club experience, DJ performances by NICDROID, SIGRID and BANDIT as well as AniKura staples DJ Zeroblade and SIGLUS will bring the energy with their electronic music!

If you are a Japanese pop culture enthusiast, there is definitely something out there in JAPANIGHT+ that caters to your interest. It's also an avenue for you to enjoy other kinds of music within the Japanese pop culture sphere.
