Hey there, CFAD Freshmen! In this academic year of 2024-2025, a new era awaits y'all fresh artists and designers who are also passionate about dance. The 30th of July was truly a "drop top" experience as the present members of the OneSHADE Dance Squad performed a dynamic and enthralling dance routine in front of the CFAD freshmen community at the UST Medicine Auditorium.

Introducing OneSHADE Dance Squad, one of CFAD's organization, we hope the performance has inspired and hyped y'all up as we welcome you to a new batch who are all set to reach greater heights.

Bound to the next stop, bound for the great, make 'em bow down to the C-F-A-D!

FACES OF DAPITAN - “Paskuhang Tomasino”

What makes your Paskuhan performance this year special?

Pamei: “Actually, last year, it was kind of an epic fail. Nagkaron ng bump so it’s medyo parang sayang? Ano ba, I can’t put it into words. Parang sayang, ganon. Pero for me nakapagperform naman kami and medyo sad lang kasi nahati kasi siya sa’min, and then ‘yung other half weren’t able to perform. What makes [this year’s performance] special right now is I believe I’m closer with the poeple I’m with, so it’s exciting to perform with them kahit it’s nerve-wracking.”

Since it’s your first time performing for Paskuhan, what emotions are you feeling right now as you are about to perform onstage later?

Tedie: “To be honest, super nerve-wracking din kasi first time ko talaga. Pero at the same time, super saya kasi parang ito ‘yung first year na as in grabe talaga ‘yung onsite talaga natin, so as in nagbubuklod talaga yung tao. So parang super kinakabahan, na-anxious ako pero at the same time parang super looking forward ako sa kung anong mangyayari later.”

Do you have a specific chant when you huddle?

Pamei and Tedie: “One, two, three, One SHADE!”

PASKUHAN 2023 WRAPPED 🎤🎵

The Grand Paskuhan Concert may be over but here’s a recap of all the performances last Thursday.

It's the most wonderful time of the year this PASKUHAN 2023!🎄

This festive December is a chapter worth cherishing, as we feel deeply privileged to be part of the pinnacle of the University of Santo Tomas' university-wide annual tradition, PASKUHAN!✨ OneSHADE Dance Squad could not be more esteemed to have the golden opportunity to showcase our passion for dance through our performance before the Thomasian crowd at the UST Grandstand.🕺🏻

As we look forward to dancing beneath the almost cloudy sky ☁️, we hope that our performance has given light to carry on the spirit of Paskuhan. The 21st of December 2023 not only marks a momentous experience for members of OneSHADE Dance Squad, but it also marks a pivotal occasion as we come together to celebrate the power of dance in uniting us as one. It is a dance to remember to be able to share the stage with exceptionally talented dance groups, which has made this year's Paskuhan performance a success and a win for us. 🤎🎄
