Did you know that the WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY is celebrated every March 21 (3.21) to celebrate the three chromosome 21s or the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome. This extra copy gives them a total of 47 chromosomes instead of 46 like you.
How cool is that?
