Temptation is not a sin, but it is pressure that starts with thought and can grow in intensity. Please remember you are not alone in this pressure of temptation. Jesus is right there with you as your merciful and faithful High Priest to help you. One of the ways He helps you is by providing an escape hatch.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (ESV)
13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

When you feel the pressure of temptation, it is time to shift your focus away from it and onto Jesus. He is opening the way out. It will come in the form of a distraction from the pressure. Use the escape He provides. He will ALWAYS be there to help.
