NEWS: Earlier today, a smog began to form around several parts of Metro Manila, raising several health and environmental concerns. In a later report, PHIVOLCS clarified that the smog hovering over parts of Metro Manila is not related to volcanic activity from Taal Volcano. In an exclusive interview with INQUIRER.NET, the DENR opined that the cause of the smog may be primarily attributed to emissions resulting from heavy vehicular traffic. Classes for all levels in the entire Metro Manila area were suspended. Some schools shifted to an online setup. A LETTER TO MY HARSHEST CRITIC As I write this letter, we are days away from the 2023 Bar Examinations. We cannot help but look back at all our struggles and hard work, but at the same time, there are also a lot of questions in our heads—most of which are left unanswered. “Have I done enough?” “Do I need to read more materials?” For the longest time, I have thanked my past self for surviving and holding on. It helped reassure my future self. That come what may, we will make it. I realized, as I go through my summaries, last minute tips, or perhaps endless affirmations—it’s about time I forgave my harshest critic—my present self. I forgive you for all the times you doubted yourself, snoozed your alarm, or refused to follow your schedule. Your vulnerability has become your resolve, and it has only made you stronger. There is no relief in uncertainty, but there is something wonderful about going through the process and fulfilling our dreams. You’re here now, and I’m already so proud of you.
