๐ RETRO COMPETITION GENERAL GUIDELINES: ๐
๐
The Group must clearly define the retro era(s) that the competition will focus on.
๐ต Dancers are allowed to choose their own music within the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's eras.
โฑ๏ธ Each performance must be 3 minutes (Minimum) or 5 minutes (Maximum). Performance exceeding the time limit will be penalized (Minus 5 points).
๐ฅ Each group (1 group per year level) should have 20 (minimum) or 45 (maximum) members. Exceeding or fewer members than allowed may result in point deduction (Minus 5 points).
๐ฏ RETRO DANCE COMPETITION CRITERIA: ๐ฏ
๐ช TECHNIQUE (30 points)
Ex*****on of moves and the mastery of various dance styles from a retro era.
๐ผ MUSICALITY (25 points)
Rhythm, timing, understanding, and conveying the mood and style of the music.

Originality and uniqueness of movements, formation, and transition.
Overall visual impact.

Energy, confidence, and engagement with the audience.

Eligibility
1. Participants must be enrolled students of NBSC pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration for the second semester of the SY 2023-2024.
2. Performances can be solo or group acts and must be between 3 to 5 minutes in duration.
3. Any talent is welcome, as long as the performance is respectful and safe, without being offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate.
Judging Criteria
Performance Quality (40%): Evaluation of sound, timing, technique, organization, and overall performance.
Showmanship (40%): Assessment of talent, creativity, and originality displayed in the performance.
Overall Appeal (20%): Consideration of the presentation impact, virtual design, and general appeal of the performance.
