12 AUG 2024 | GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE MARAMAG COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER BUILDING

Kudos to the Bukidnon National School of Home Industries (BNSHI) and the entire Region 10 for the successful groundbreaking of the first-ever two-story Alternative Learning System (ALS) school building!

This historic project, which was made possible by funding from the Bureau of Alternative Education, is a monument to our collective development and dedication to education.

ALGEM 2024 GENERAL ASSEMBLY: A RESOUNDING SUCCESS WITH 75% ATTENDANCE AND EXCITING PRIZES

The Association of Local Government Employees of Maramag (ALGEM) successfully conducted its 2024 General Assembly, achieving an impressive 75% turnout from its total membership. The event, held last August 9, 2024 at the Municipal Lobby, turned out to be one of the most memorable assemblies to date.

A highlight of the assembly was the distribution of major and minor prizes, with 35 lucky members receiving 5 kg sacks of Jasmine rice. The excitement reached its peak during the raffle draw of major prizes, which saw three delighted winners, namely:

3rd Prize: Beverly Camarillo from the Municipal Engineering Office (MEO) who won a Samsung Twin Tub Washing Machine.

2nd Prize: Rhodora Tuban from the Municipal Budget Office (MBO) took home a Sharp Refrigerator.

Grand Prize: Maye Amata from the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) who was the lucky recipient of a 55-inch Samsung Smart TV.

The event was made even more special by the presence of our very own dynamic Municipal Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal and supportive Municipal Vice Mayor Atty. Maribeth Estrella-Lopez, who both led the raffle draw for selection of the major and minor prize winners. Their participation added a significant level of leadership value and recognition to the assembly.

A key moment during the assembly was the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between ALGEM and the Local Government Unit (LGU) for the implementation of thr Rice Loan Program. This agreement marks a milestone in the collaboration between ALGEM and the LGU, further strengthening their partnership.

Additionally, ALGEM Treasurer Jeffrey V. Juan presented the Treasurer's Report, providing transparency and accountability to the members. President Emmanuelito A. Ngujo also addressed the assembly, highlighting the achievements and future goals of the association.

The 2024 General Assembly of ALGEM stands out as one of the most successful in the association's history, marked by its high participation, exciting prizes, and meaningful collaborations. The members left the assembly with a sense of pride and anticipation for what lies ahead.

ON ITS 20TH DAY: HATUD SERBISYO FINALLY CONCLUDES ITS SUCCESSFUL RUN IN BARANGAY SAN MIGUEL

The Municipality of Maramag has successfully concluded its Hatud Serbisyo program, bringing government services closer to the people through a series of “One-Stop Shop” events held in all 20 barangays in the municipality.

The final leg of the program was held today, August 9, 2024, in Barangay San Miguel, where hundreds of residents availed themselves of various government services offered by different municipal departments/offices.

Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal expressed his satisfaction with the successful implementation of the Hatud Serbisyo program and underscored that this initiative is a concrete manifestation of the administration’s commitment to public service and the desire to make the local government more accessible to their constituents. Vice Mayor Atty. Maribeth Estrella-Lopez also echoed Mayor Doromal’s sentiments, emphasizing the importance of bringing government services to the doorsteps of every Maramagnon.

The Sangguniang Bayan Council of Maramag, along with the Barangay Officials of San Miguel, both played a crucial role in ensuring the success of the program’s last day of delivery. Their cooperation and support have greatly ensured the smooth implementation of the Hatud Serbisyo events, including all the rest of the 20 barangays in the municipality.

DAY 19: HATUD SERBISYO BRINGS GOVERNMENT CLOSER TO THE RESIDENTS OF BARANGAY CAMP 1

The Municipality of Maramag, under the able and active leadership of Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal and Vice Mayor Atty. Maribeth Estrella-Lopez, successfully brought government services closer to the people of Barangay Camp 1 through the Hatud Serbisyo program on its 19th day last August 8, 2024.

Hundreds of residents benefited from the “One-Stop Shop” event held at the barangay hall, where various LGU departments/offices offered essential services such as civil registration, health consultations, free wedding ceremony, legal assistance, among many others. This initiative was aimed to simplify government processes and provide convenient access of vital services to all barangays in the municipality.

The Sangguniang Bayan of Maramag, composed of our very dedicated council members, also actively supported the Hatud Serbisyo program with their presence during the event. Officials of Barangay Camp 1 also emphasized that the program has brought significant relief to their residents, particularly those who have difficulty traveling to the town proper just to avail some of the most basic services of the government.

August 8, 2024 – The local government of Lala, Lanao del Norte visited the Maramag Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) to study its efficient operations. Maramag has earned a reputation for its streamlined permit and licensing process, making it a model for other municipalities.

The Maramag team, led by Municipal Administrator Atty. Euangeli P. Doromal, including Municipal Tourism Officer Ms. Teresa B. Barilea, Licensing Officer III Ms. Amelyn M. Obial, Licensing Officer II Mr. Rouil E. Asok, and Motorela Franchise Focal Person Mr. Everildo S. Barbanida, warmly welcomed the Lala delegation. They shared insights into their successful strategies, including technology use, customer service, and Citizen Charter policies. Lala officials were particularly impressed by Maramag’s dedication to continuous improvement and community focus.

This visit is part of LGU Lala’s efforts to enhance its services. By adopting best practices from Maramag, LGU Lala aims to create a more business-friendly environment in their own municipality. The event concluded with a productive exchange of appreciation and a commitment to future collaboration.

This successful benchmarking activity underscores the value of cooperation between the two local governments in improving public service delivery. Further, Maramag looks forward to sharing its expertise with other municipalities.

DAY 18: HATUD SERBISYO AT BARANGAY SOUTH POBLACION

The residents of Barangay South Poblacion experienced the 18th leg of the "Hatud Serbisyo" initiative, a program conducted by the Municipal Government of Maramag on August 7, 2024.

The event was spearheaded by Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal and Vice Mayor Atty. Maribeth Estrella-Lopez, alongside the Sangguniang Bayan members. Their collective vision demonstrated their shared ideal of exclusive and accessible governance to Maramagnons. Hon. John Lester T. Tan, the Barangay Captain of South Poblacion and the ABC President, also made sure that the Barangay Council of South Poblacion also gave their 100% all-out participation and support to the activity.

To solidify the program’s goal, various service booths were set up around the barangay hall, each dedicated to a specific area of public service. This very effort to decentralize basic government services to all Maramagnons reflect our local leaders’ thrust to build a more inclusive and supportive Local Government Unit. As the activities of the day concluded, the radiant smiles of each resident from Barangay South Poblacion were undeniable.

DAY 17: HATUD SERBISYO AT BARANGAY NORTH POBLACION

August 6, 2024 marked a special day for the residents of Barangay North Poblacion as the Municipal Government of Maramag rolled out "Hatud Serbisyo," a flagship program aimed at bringing essential government services directly to the barangays. This initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for its constituents by making services more accessible and responsive to their needs. Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal and Vice Mayor Atty. Maribeth Estrella-Lopez, along with the Sangguniang Bayan, led the activity as they emphasized the importance of community engagement and the government's dedication to public service. Barangay Captain Hon. John Andre Lalaan and the very service-oriented members of the Barangay Council were also present, actively participating in the day's activities.

On August 2, 2024, the Hatud Serbisyo initiative reached its 16th barangay, setting up camp in Barangay San Roque. The day was marked by a strong turnout, with hundreds of residents eagerly participating in the various services provided.

The Hatud Serbisyo program, which aims to bring crucial government services closer to the community, is on its 16th leg. Hundreds of Panadtalan locals availed themselves of free livelihood assistance, legal aid, and medical and dental consultation.

On July 26, 2024, the "Hatud Serbisyo" initiative successfully brought essential government services to Barangay Dologon, marking the 12th leg of its mission to provide direct community access to all 20 barangays of Maramag, Bukidnon.

Under the dedicated leadership of Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal, Vice Mayor Atty. Maribeth Estrella-Lopez, the committed Sangguniang Bayan Council, and the different essential service departments/offices of the LGU, the program sought to connect the government with the Barangay Dologon Council and its residents.

As a result, they were able to benefit from a variety of services, including medical and dental consultations, legal assistance, and livelihood support. The program aimed to ensure that everyone, regardless of their location, could access vital resources and support.

The large turnout of participation from the Barangay Dologon community highlighted the importance of the program. Pag-IBIG Fund Valencia Branch is thrilled to announce a new monthly service center at the Maramag Municipal Hall. Starting May 30, 2024, residents can access various Pag-IBIG services every 4th Thursday of the month during office hours. The service center will cater to Multi-Purpose Loan applications, claims applications, inquiries regarding membership and housing loans, and Employer's and Employee's Registration applications.

This initiative aims to bring Pag-IBIG services closer to the community, providing convenience and accessibility to residents.
