“IV glutathione will whiten your skin and make you look really like caucasian, but it can damage your kidneys and kill you,” said Health Secretary Ted Herbosa at the Kapihan forum.
Herbosa emphasized that IV glutathione is not safe to be used in clinics and is rather designed for hospitals because it is being used as a rescue medicine for chemotherapeutic complications of cancer.
“I’m telling you from the Department of Health. It is not safe. The FDA has not registered it for skin whitening. If there’s someone using it, it is illegal,” said Herbosa.

1. Palaging naiihi o sobrang dalas na pag ihi.
2. Madalas bumangon sa gabi para umihi
3. Palaging nauuhaw
4. Palaging nagugutom
5. Biglang pagpayat
6. Pakiramdam na laging pagod o walang enerhiya
7. Tinutusok tusok na pakiramdam sa kamay at paa
ANO-ANO ANG MGA POSIBLENG KOMPLIKASYON NG DIABETES MELLITUS?
1. Sakit sa puso
Maraming salamat!

2.5 million people died from pneumonia in 2019
It's the leading cause of death in children less than 5 years old
PNEUMONIA is an infection of tiny air sacs in the lungs which become filled with pus and fluid, makes it hard to breathe and reduces Oxygen intake. It is caused by bacteria, virus, or fungi.
SYMPTOMS OF PNEUMONIA can be mild, moderate, or severe depending on different factors such as:
> the type of infecting agent (bacteria, virus, fungi, etc)
> the patient's age
> the patient's overall health condition
Signs and symptoms may include:
- Cough
- Fatigue
- Fever, sweating or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Chest pain when coughing
In people 65 years old and above, they may have
- lower than normal temperature
- confusion, or even increased sleeping or drowsiness
In children, they may show
- fast breathing
- noisy breathing
- chest retractions, where you can see their muscles sucked in the ribs
- poor feeding
- irritability
- Lethargy, or decreased activity and increased sleeping
HOW TO AVOID PNEUMONIA
1) Avoid exposure to air pollution and smoke.
2) Ensure good nutrition by eating healthy food and drinking enough water/fluids
3) Practice good hygiene. Always wash your hands with soap and water
4) Avoid exposure to sick people or those with fever and cough.
If you can't avoid them:
> always wear face mask
> maintain good distance
> avoid sharing of utensils
> always practice hand hygiene
> clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces or objects.
5) Get pneumonia vaccine, especially if you are at high risk for pneumonia:
> children
> elderly (65 years old and above)
> those with chronic diseases, such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, etc.
If you have any questions or concerns about pneumonia prevention, talk to your doctor.
Water is essential for life, and drinking enough of it every day has many health benefits. Here are just a few:

2) Lubricates and cushions joints.
3) Protects organs and tissues.
4) Helps with digestion.
5) Prevents constipation.
6) Removes waste products.
7) Improves physical performance.
8) Improves mood and cognitive function.
9) Promotes weight loss.

11) May reduce the risk of other chronic diseases, such as heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes.
Most adults need around 3.7 liters (for males) or 2.7 liters (for females) of fluids per day, but the exact amount you need will vary depending on your individual factors, such as your activity level and climate. It is important to note that other fluids, such as juice, milk, and tea, can also contribute to your daily fluid intake. However, water is the best choice because it is calorie-free and has no added sugar or other additives.
Here are some tips for staying hydrated:
1) Drink water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty.
2) Keep a water bottle with you at all times and refill it often.
3) Drink water before, during, and after exercise.
4) Eat fruits and vegetables, which contain water.
5) Avoid sugary drinks, such as soda and juice, as these can dehydrate you.
If you have any questions or concerns about your fluid intake, talk to your doctor.
