Dear Teachers,

Let's be careful to parents who don't even know how to discipline their children. Child protection policy maybe is our downfall of inculcating values to this generations, but it is part of the system. Let's do our job, that is to teach lessons. Let parents handle the values education since they are much capable of it. Parents will always the reflection of the child's personality. We are the face of the wrong system. So, never go against it or else you'll lose your job. Putting a meal in a table is much important than to discipline a child and lose your dignity, reputation and a job.

📌To parents: If you observe that my class is unruly then I do nothing, it means I'm tired and protecting myself from you. Remember, to discipline your children is a crime and I don't want to lose my job. We study and get a license for years. We don't want our hardwork to be wasted. Let's be fair to the law and in our rights. WE WILL NOT BE PUNISHED IF WE PRODUCED CHILDREN WITHOUT VALUES. 🤔

¨HUWAG POST SCHOOL CARD, ID AND CERTIFICATE NG MGA ANAK NIYO¨

Sa mga magulang at mga mag aaral,

Buong galang na may pagmamalasakit po tayong pinaaalalahanan at hinihikayat ng DepEd na iwasan ang pagpopost ng buong larawan ng ID, Report Card o Certificate ng ating mga anak sa Facebook o sa anupamang social networking site platforms. Ang mga dokumentong ito, bagama’t karapatdapat ipagmalaki, ay naglalaman ng mga mahahalaga at sensitibong personal na impormasyong maaaring gamitin upang mambiktima at manlinlang ng kapwa kabilang na may ari ng mga dokumentong iyon kasama na rin ang kanyang mga kaanak.

1. Ang buong pangalan ng bata at buong pangalan ng kanyang paaralan na matatagpuan dito ay maaaring gamitin upang matukoy kung saan siya naroroon. Napakadali ngayong isearch at makita ang mga social media accounts ng mga bata gayundin makita sa mapa gamit ang internet ang kinaroroonan ng mga ito;

2. Ang Learner Reference Number (LRN) na natatangi sa isang maga-aral ay matatagpuan rin sa mga dokumentong ito. Nakaugnay sa LRN ng isang bata ang kanyang historical school records kasama ang kanyang mga marka gayundin ang mga personal na impormasyon gaya ng petsa ng kapanganakan, address, pangalan ng mga magulang, lahi, at iba pa, na pawang ginawa ng gobyerno bilang paghahanda sa National ID System. In 2011, one year after I gave birth to Tiana, my fourth child and first daughter, I chanced upon the book, “The Princess and the Kiss,” by Jennie Bishop on Amazon. It’s a beautiful story about a king and queen who helped their princess daughter to protect her first kiss. When it was time for the princess to marry, suitors came to court her. Each one represented the different kinds of men our daughters may encounter in the future. There was one who had impressive strength and abilities, one who promised never ending romance, and yet another, who could provide a life of no physical because he was wealthy.

In the end the princess chose wisely and married the one whom she believed would best cherish her kiss, a simple squire who was a noble man of character. He presented himself to her parents, appealing for them to consider him even if he wasn’t a prince, and with their blessing, the princess gives her first kiss to him in marriage.

Catalina was reading the book the other day, and I started to tear just thinking about how precious my daughters are. I pray they will not easily give their hearts away, that God will give them discernment and wisdom to recognize the right kind of guy, not based on what they can offer, but who they are inside.

I recommend this book to all parents who have daughters. It’s a great book to introduce purity, and to talk about marriage and the importance of praying for the right kind of man.😘
