The Kapiz Finish is a material exploration project we’ve done to give new life to scrap windowpane oyster shells or capiz shells. It is a testament to our commitment to sustainable design and Filipino craftsmanship.

From Waste To Wonder: Our Kapiz Finish will be a part of EMERGE at FIND .

Curated by Suzy Annetta of Design Anthology (.au), this year’s edition will feature the curatorial theme of “CRAFT + INDUSTRY: MAN + MACHINE”, with works by over 50 emerging and established designers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Reintroducing ourselves just in time for Krete Manila’s 6th anniv! Hi, we’re Daniel and Viktoria, Concrete Design Duo🖐🏽

It’s been a challenging year for us, transitioning from full-time to part-time makers to almost deciding to close shop 😅 We can’t make everyone love natural concrete but knowing that there are still fellow-makers and concrete enthusiasts who believe in us, we decided to keep going.

As the Filipino phrase goes, “Padayon lang”. We will still be around to make more concrete innovations and hopefully, make everyone love it! ✨
