City Health Office - Masbate City

The City Health Office of Masbate with the support form the City Government of Masbate conducted the Buntis Congress for the year 2024 with the theme:

"Kalusuga'y waging wagi sa tamang pag aaruga ay naibahagi".

Participants includes pregnant and lactating women from various City Barangays who were able to avail of services from PhilHealth, FPOP, and others.

Today concludes the 4-day Wireless Access for Health training workshop of the Masbate City Health Office employees conducted at the 2nd floor of the CHO building Masbate City.

Known as Wireless Access for Health (WAH), this program delivers critical technical assistance to help RHUs improve their operations and quality of care. An innovative public-private partnership, the WAH initiative provided RHUs with low-cost, locally built and sustained electronic health records and mobile health (mHealth) tools, training, and support.

Developed by RTI, WAH’s platform features an electronic health records (EHR) system that is compatible with all major health programs, a mobile application known as EHR-Lite to track patient care outside of the main health clinic, and SMS patient alerts to improve follow-up and use of preventative services such as prenatal care and immunizations.

The platform supports reporting of health claims to PhilHealth, the national health insurance program, and to the Department of Health’s Field Health Service Information System—reducing the burden on health workers and improving the timeliness and accuracy of health information.

Sa pinakahuling datos na inilabas ng PAGASA, makikita ang pagtaas ng heat index hanggang sa 46 degrees Celsius sa maraming lugar sa bansa.Patuloy nating nararamdaman ito sa kasalukuyan.

Narito ang ilan sa mga paalala mula sa Department of Health upang maiwasan at malaman ng bawat isa ang mga dapat gawin sa oras na tayo ay tamaan ng mga sakit bunsod ng mainit na panahon.

Maging wais, pabakunahan laban sa pertussis ang inyong mga anak!

Ang 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨 o “whooping cough” ay isang nakakahawang sakit na nakamamatay lalo na sa mga sanggol.

Kahit wala pang naitalang kaso ng Pertussis sa Rehiyong Bicol ngayong taon, siguraduhing protektado ang inyong mga sanggol sa nakamamatay na sakit na ito.

Agad na magpabakuna sa pinakamalapit na health center para iwas pertussis!

Kumpletuhin ang 3 dosis ng Pentavalent Vaccine o 5 in 1 Vaccine (Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Influenza B at Hepatitis B) base sa mga sumusunod na edad.

TANDAAN: Matagal ang gamutan ng Pertussis at maaring magdulot ng nakamamatay na na komplikasyon tulad ng apnea o pagtigil ng paghinga, kombulsyon, at pulmonya sa mga sanggol.

Topic : Pertussis a.k.a. whooping cough
- is a very contagious respiratory illness caused by a type of bacteria called Bordetella pertussis.
- is only found in humans.

Whooping cough bacteria attach to the cilia (tiny, hair-like extensions) that line part of the upper respiratory system. The bacteria release toxins (poisons), which damage the cilia and cause airways to swell.

Pre- Marriage Orientation and Counseling

16 would- be couples were oriented and counseled on Maternal and Child Care, Nutrition, Immunization and Family Planning by Ms. Hannah Lei Liao- Apaya, Population Officer- designate yesterday at the City Hall Compound, City of Masbate.

An Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) o pagbabakuna sa mga kabataan na bag-on anak hasta 1 year old, usad na programa san gobyerno para masiguro na ligtas kag protektado an aton mga kabataan sa mga sakit na pwede makuha habang sinda nagdadako.

Amo man Pre-natal Care para sa mga babaye na naga budos na layon na mahatagan san tama na pag-aalaga kag maipaabot an mga serbisyo na angay para sani sa inda.

Dahil sani, bulan bulan naga-bakuna kag Prenatal an mga Midwife kag Nurse san City Health Office sa mga Baranagay san Masbate City para maipaabot ini na serbisyo.
