It's been three years since I started baking. Time really flies! I remember when I first saw those beautiful floral cupcakes on Instagram and got inspired. I decided to give baking a try and ordered some basic supplies using my savings. It was tough at first because I wanted to make sure I didn't waste my ingredients. Surprisingly, I learned how to decorate cupcakes with floral designs, although looking back, they weren't perfect. In February 2021, things changed for me. I'm usually shy and find it hard to talk to people, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone and turn my hobby into a business. Initially, I just wanted to bake for my family, not start a business. I remember feeling nervous when my mom suggested accepting orders, even though I had only practiced a few times. I'm grateful to my family for giving me the courage to take on those orders. Reflecting on these past years, I've realized that trying new things can lead to unexpected opportunities. It can be scary, but it's also exciting. Stepping out of our comfort zones helps us discover what we truly want and what we're capable of. Baking has become my way to relax and escape from the stresses of life, especially now that I have other responsibilities. I feel blessed to have the skills to make my customers' cake dreams come true. Love, Miss J
