Noong ika-14 ng Mayo 2023, mayroong 437 na malubha at kritikal na pasyente na naka-admit sa ating mga ospital dahil sa COVID-19. Sa 2,093 ICU beds para sa mga pasyenteng may COVID-19, 394 (18.8%) ang okupado. Samantala, 3,791(21.7%) ng 17,454 non-ICU COVID-19 beds naman ang kasalukuyan ding ginagamit.

Higit sa 78 milyong indibidwal o 100.44% ng ating target na populasyon ang bakunado na laban sa COVID-19 habang 23 milyong indibidwal naman ang nakatanggap na ng kanilang booster shots. Sa kabilang banda, 7.1 milyong senior citizens o 82.16% ng ating target A2 population ang nakatanggap na ng kanilang primary series.

Mula Mayo 8 hanggang 14, 12,414 na bagong kaso ang naitala sa bansa. Ang average na bilang ng bagong kaso kada araw ngayong linggo ay nasa 1,773, mas mataas ng 31 percent kung ikukumpara sa mga kaso noong Mayo 1 hanggang 7. Sa mga bagong kaso, 53 sa mga ito ang may malubha at kritikal na karamdaman. Samantala, walang naitalang pumanaw noong Mayo 1 hanggang 14.

Sa mga bagong kaso, 6 sa mga ito ang may malubha at kritikal na karamdaman. Samantala, mayroon namang naitalang 63 na pumanaw kung saan 0 ay naganap noong Marso 6 hanggang 19.

What to do if someone is sick with COVID-19 in your household❓

May bakuna man na bagong dating, huwag kalimutan na ang pag-iwas ay kailangan pa din. !

Huwag maliitin ang ating mga preventive measures kahit na may bakuna mang dumating. Sa sama-samang pag-iwas, dagdag ang epekto ng bakuna, kayang-kaya nating kontrolin at wakasan ang pandemya ng COVID-19. Ipinapaalala ng HPAAC na PAREHO PA DIN ANG PAG-IWAS sa sakit na COVID-19, ang APAT DAPAT!

A - Air circulation and ventilation.
Piliin ang mga lugar na may magandang sirkulasyon ng hangin. Panatilihin ang magandang bentilasyon sa kwarto, sa bahay, o sa mga lugar na pinagkukumpulan ng mga tao. Mas maganda kung sa outdoor gawin ang pakikipagkita sa ibang tao.

P - Physical distance one meter or more.
Siguraduhin ang distansyang isang metro o higit pa sa ibang tao na hindi kasama sa bahay. Iwasan ang mga matataong lugar kung saan hindi mapapanatili ang physical distancing.

A - Always use face mask and face shield.
Isuot ng tama ang face mask at face shield lalo na kung lalabas ng bahay at may makakasalimuhang ibang tao. Ang face mask, dapat walang vent o butas, at natatakpan ang ilong, bibig, hanggang baba. Ang face shield, hindi dapat ginagawang head band.

T - Time of interaction thirty minutes or less.
Iwasan ang mahabang pakikisalamuha sa ibang tao. Mas matagal na interaksyon sa ibang tao, mas malaki ang tsansa na mahawa ng COVID-19. Planuhin ang mga gagawin sa labas ng bahay para masiguradong hindi nagtatagal sa isang lugar. Kung maaari, manatili lamang sa bahay.
