As part of Oplan Paghalasa, intensified and closely monitoring of flood prone areas within the area of responsibility is being implemented.

Bato Fire Station personnel under the leadership of 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙀𝙇 𝘼 𝘿𝙊𝙈𝘼, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal conducted water level monitoring at Bacolod Spillway, Bato, Camarines Sur.

This activity aims to ensure the public safety in response to the possible effects of Tropical Depression Enteng.

BFP Region 5 is raised and placed into FULL ALERT STATUS (Code RED) in response to 𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 "𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘨".

As part of BFP mission, Bato Fire Station under the leadership of 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙀𝙇 𝘼 𝘿𝙊𝙈𝘼, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, assisted the Philippine Coast Guard and MDRRMO-Bato in the conduct of Retrieval Operation of an unidentified female victim of drowning incident who was found at Agos, Bato, Camarines Sur.

BFP Region 5 is raised and placed into FULL ALERT STATUS (Code RED) effective 1200H 01 September 2024 in response to 𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 "𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘨".

Bato Fire Station under the leadership of 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙀𝙇 𝘼 𝘿𝙊𝙈𝘼, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted checking of attendance of all BFP personnel to ensure that all are PRESENT to maintain vigilance and ensure prompt and effective delivery of any kind of emergencies.

In addition, this station conducted Rank Inspection wearing Disaster Response Uniform to ensure strict adherence to the Standard Guidelines of proper grooming and wearing of uniform.

Ang buong Kawanihan ng Pamatay Sunog ay nakikiisa sa selebrasyon ng Araw ng mga Bayani at sa lahat ng makabagong bayani na patuloy lumalaban sa hamon ng buhay.

Ang Araw ng mga Pambansang Bayani ay hango sa Batas Pambansa Bilang 3827 na ipinasa ng Pambansang Lehislatura noong ika-28 ng Oktubre, taong 1931.

Sa kasaysayan, maraming mga bayani ang nagtangkang ipaglaban ang bansa ayon sa kanilang nalalamang kakayahan. Isa sa mga pinakapopular ay si Dr. Jose Rizal. Siya ay idineklara ng mga Amerikano sa pangunguna ni Gobernador William Howard Taft bilang pambansang bayani. Ilan pa sa mga sikat na bayani ay sina Andres Bonifacio, Apolinario Mabini, Magat Salamat, Diego Silang, Francisco Dagohoy, Lapu-lapu, Rajah Soliman at Tamblot.

Bukod sa kanila, binibigyang karangalan din ang mga lumaban sa ngalan ng kalayaan ng Pilipinas ngunit hindi gaanong nakilala sa kasaysayan tulad nina Amam Dangat ng Batanes noong ika-18 siglo. Kasama na rin dito si Datu Akadir na siyang nakipaglaban sa mga Espanyol dahil sa pananakop sa Lanao noong huling 19 siglo at si Diego de la Viña na siyang nagbuo ng kanyang sariling hukbo sa Negros Oriental upang labanan ang mga Espanyol.

As part of Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan of Bureau of Fire Protection, immersive community fire prevention is implemented such as conducting drills and simulation exercises. This approach will directly help the community in making fire prevention measures more effective.

Bato Fire Station under the leadership of 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙀𝙇 𝘼 𝘿𝙊𝙈𝘼, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a Simulation Exercise in Firefighting through the cooperation of Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) of Brgy San Rafael, Bato, Camarines Sur headed by Hon. Arlan Gerobin, on 22nd day of August, 2024.

This simulation activity is conducted to evaluate the readiness of the CFAG members as well as the residents of the barangay especially in the zones with the highest risk to fire.
