👀"SEE MORE AND BE MORE"💪

🤝 With the kind support of the ONESIGHT EssilorLuxottica Foundation and their local manufacturing partner, Essilor Manufacturing Philippines Inc., led by the dedicated Dr. Feora A. Vanadero, Optometrist, we were able to offer free eye check-up services to these beneficiaries. Among them were ten personnel headed by JINSP RESSIE R DANTE, Officer-In-Charge, six JO1 Trainees, and 28 female Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) from our unit.✨

A total of 38 eyeglasses, valued at an estimated Php 30,400.00, were generously provided free of charge to our wonderful female beneficiaries. 🤓👓

This heartwarming initiative was conducted in celebration of World Sight Day, with the theme "Love Your Sight at Work." 💖🌎

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this day possible - the dedicated volunteers, the incredible beneficiaries, and all those who contributed to making this event a remarkable success please continue to spread the gift of vision and positivity, one pair of glasses at a time! 🙏🎉

In line with the Celebration of Elderly Filipino Week with the theme: "Honoring the Invaluable Legacy of the Filipino Senior Citizens", Four (4) personnel of this unit led by SJO1 Merlyn L Nadiahan, Unit C, CRS, together with the Bataan DJMD conducted an Outreach Activity to 34 elderly of Obispado de Balanga, Bahay Puso, Abucay Bataan under the directives of JINSP RESSIE R DANTE, Officer-In-Charge.

💡Need-to-know: Elderly Filipino Week is commemorated every October 1 to 7 by Proclamation No. 470, issued by then-President Fidel Ramos on September 26, 1994. The proclamation establishes the Executive Department’s obligation, via the Department of Social Welfare and Development, to implement a social welfare program supporting the well-being of the elderly. It is believed that older Filipinos are essential members of society who need help and protection in order to live productive and happy lives. The yearly celebration of the Elderly Filipino Week emphasizes the contributions of senior citizens in contributing to the development of the country.

Together with the National Commission of Senior Citizens, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology celebrates the Elderly Filipino Week 2023.

"Honoring the Invaluable Legacy of Filipino Senior Citizens" is the focus of this year's theme. Senior citizens' contributions to the nation's progress are highlighted by this year's celebration.

In celebration of Philippine Creative Industries Month, a 4-day trade fair event will be held at Vista Mall Bataan with the collaboration of the Department of Trade and Industries (DTI) Bataan, with the theme "Likha ng Bataeno's," which will showcase various products made locally in the province of Bataan, including those made by our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

Join us and explore the craftsmanship behind our products at Vista Mall, Balanga City, Bataan from September 25-28, 2023 on the exciting 4-day event featuring various types of items, we've got something for everyone. Let's !

five (5) personnel of this unit together with four (4) personnel of male dormitory, conducted Feeding Program and Read-a-Book Activity to (60) Daycare Pupils of Barangay Doña, Orani, Bataan, Daycare Center with the theme:“Kawanggawa Alay sa Kapwa”.

In line with their tagline “MCGI Cares, The Legacy Continues”. Members Church of God International (MCGI) headed by Bro. Daniel Razon, Overall Servant, initiated Medical, Dental, Eye care, and other assosiated health care services.
Additionally, they also provided free haircuts, snacks, and reading glasses, as well as free legal advice for both Persons Deprived of Liberty and Personnel of this jail unit.

This kind of activity is important for raising our PDL's morale and is a wonderful method of showing appreciation for them.

Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa | Agosto 28, 2023

Bilang bahagi ng paggunita sa taunang selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2023 na may temang “Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika: Wika ng Kapayapaan, Seguridad, at Ingklusibong Pagpapatupad ng Katarungang Panlipunan.” Ang Piitang Pang Distrito ng Bataan para sa Kababaihan, sa pangunguna ni JINSP RESSIE R DANTE, Opisyal ba Namamahala, ay nagsagawa ng paligsahan sa Katutubong sayaw, na nilahukan ng mga Taong Pinagkaitan ng Kalayan at mga piling Kawani ng Piitan. Layunin ng pagdiriwang na ito na maipakita ang pagpapahala sa ating pambansang wika.

To showcase the products that are truly Bataan-made, the DTI-Bataan, in partnership with Vista Mall-Bataan, organized a 4-day trade fair event last August 22–25 at the Mall Atrium of Vista Mall with the theme "Likha ng Bataeos: Homestyle & Wearables Industry Clusters". This jail unit actively participated in the said event to promote the products made by our PDL.
