Here are the mechanics for the 2023 OCSAT SPORTSFEST
November 30 – December 3, 2023

BASKETBALL (MEN)
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. For Junior High School - Each grade level must have one team
For Senior High School - Each strand must have one team (Except for TVL, which will have two teams)
3. Each team must have a maximum of 15 players, and all members must be of the same grade level for JHS and the same strand for SHS.
4. The tournament will follow a double elimination system.
5. The game will follow the Passerelle Rules.
6. Game duration – 5 minutes per quarter (1st-3rd), and 10 minutes for the 4th quarter
7. NO PROPER SPORTS ATTIRE! NO PLAY!

BASKETBALL (WOMEN)
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. For Junior High School - Each grade level must have one team
For Senior High School - Each strand must have one team
3. Each team must have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 4 players, and all members must be of the same grade level for JHS and the same strand for SHS.
4. The tournament will follow a double elimination system and Passerelle Rules.
5. Game duration – 5 minutes per quarter (1st-3rd), and 10 minutes for the 4th quarter
6. NO PROPER SPORTS ATTIRE! NO PLAY!

VOLLEYBALL (MEN & WOMEN)
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. For Junior High School - Each grade level must have one team
For Senior High School - Each strand must have one team
3. Each team must have a minimum of 6 and maximum12 players, and all members must be of the same grade level.
4. and all members must be of the same grade level for JHS and the same strand for SHS.
5. The tournament will follow a double elimination system.
6. Each game will follow a race to 35 scoring.
7. NO PROPER SPORTS ATTIRE! NO PLAY!
BADMINTON (MEN & WOMEN)
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. For Junior High School - Each grade level must have 3 players (For singles and doubles)
For Senior High School - Each strand must have 3 players (For singles and doubles)
3. The tournament will follow a double elimination system.
4. Each game will follow a race to 21 scoring.
5. NO PROPER SPORTS ATTIRE! NO PLAY!

TABLE TENNNIS (MEN & WOMEN)
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. For Junior High School - Each grade level must have a minimum of 1 and maximum of 4 players (Singles)
For Senior High School - Each strand must have a minimum of 1 and maximum of 4 players (Singles)
3. The tournament will follow a double elimination system.
4. Each game will follow a race to 11 scoring.
5. NO PROPER SPORTS ATTIRE! NO PLAY!

SEPAK TAKRAW (MEN & WOMEN)
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. For Junior High School - Each grade level must have one team
For Senior High School - Each strand must have one team
3. Each team must have 3 players and all members must be of the same grade level for JHS and the same strand for SHS.
4. The tournament will follow a double elimination system.
5. Each game will follow a race to 21 scoring.
6. NO PROPER SPORTS ATTIRE! NO PLAY!

CHESS (MEN & WOMEN)
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. For Junior High School - Each grade level must have 2 players
For Senior High School - Each strand must have 2 players
3. The tournament will follow a single round robin system.

ATHLETICS (MEN & WOMEN)
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. NO PROPER SPORTS ATTIRE! NO PLAY!
RUNNING (100-meter dash)
For Junior High School - Each grade level must have 3 players
For Senior High School - Each strand must have 3 players
THROWING (Shot Put Throw)
For Junior High School - Each grade level must have 3 players
For Senior High School - Each strand must have 3 players
JUMPING (Long Jump)
For Junior High School - Each grade level must have 3 players
For Senior High School - Each strand must have 3 players

COMBATIVE SPORTS (MEN & WOMEN)
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. The tournament will follow a double elimination system.
3. NO PROPER SPORTS ATTIRE! NO PLAY!
WUSHU
For Junior High School - Each grade level must have a maximum 6 players
For Senior High School - Each strand must have a maximum 6 players
PENCAK SILAT
For Junior High School - Each grade level must have a maximum 6 players
For Senior High School - Each strand must have a maximum 6 players
ARNIS
For Junior High School - Each grade level must have a maximum 6 players

E-SPORTS
Mechanics:
1. All players must be bona fide students of Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades of the school year 2023-2024.
2. Players must provide their own internet connection or data.

Regarding the official dance group of OCSAT:

The Final dance auditions will happen on Wednesday and Thursday, February 22-23, 2023. All those who have had a successful interview will meet with the SSG officers on 3:30pm at the ALS room, under the advisory of sir Freddie Saquin. We sincerely hope you have successfully prepared your final performance.

For those of you who have been successfully interviewed but have not yet been added to the GC, please contact Ace Jade Orilla to be added on our GC.

To whom it will concern: after the auditions are finished, we will move on to finalizing the lucky chosen to occupy the 12-14 slots.
