In line with the alarming surge of COVID-19 cases and deaths in Baybay City in the previous week, for which reason, the City Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (City IATF-MEID) has decided to impose stricter and heightened measures in order to stem or stop the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus in the city.

In consonance with Executive Order No. 118 – An Executive Order Prescribing Heightened COVID-19 Measures and Protocols in Baybay City from 23 August 2021 to 5 September 2021, issued by the Office of the City Mayor Hon. Jose Carlos L. Cari, Section 9. Regulation on Certain Activities – For the period covered by the aforementioned Executive Order, the following activities shall be implemented:

Activity Regulation / Protocols : Basketball, football, Frisbee, volleyball in barangay gymnasiums and playing fields. Other sports activities. - NOT ALLOWED.

In view to this, we strongly enjoin all the SK Chairpersons and SK Officials across the 92 Barangays of the City of Baybay to suspend all celebrations of the 2021 Linggo Ng Kabataan 2021 Barangay-based, Sports Tournaments, and other related activities for the period of this Executive Order (until 5 September 2021) unless rendered ineffective in writing or extended by the Office of the City Mayor or the City IATF-MEID.

Under Republic Act No. 11055 or the Philippine Identification System Act, the PHILID CARD shall serve as the OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT-ISSUED IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT OF CARDHOLDERS IN DEALING WITH ALL national government agencies (NGAs), local government units (LGUs), government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs), government financial institutions (GFIs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), AND ALL PRIVATE SECTOR ENTITIES.
