Thinking of changing your regular toothpaste? You may or may not want to give this a spin: the Philippines’ Department of Science and Technology is reportedly exploring using okra fluid — yep, that slimy stuff that comes out of cooked okra — as a toothpaste.

This , we highlight ways that the United States and the Philippines work together to conserve the environment, particularly .
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), plastics are entering into our ocean at an alarming rate. USAID Philippines' Clean Cities, Blue Ocean program is one effort to address this. The five-year, $48-million project has allowed USAID to work with partners to reduce plastic outflow in the Philippines through better solid waste management and empower Filipino women who work tirelessly in the country's waste sector.

Persistence. Pressing on. Moving forward. Kulitan hanggang di natatamo ang pangarap. The greatest and most common thing about people who succeed and make a difference in this life is their attitude of MOVING FORWARD despite obstacles; indeed, their resolve is: NOT TO GIVE UP.
The great Martin Luther King, Jr. once said - “If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
We can remember as well that one of the greatest presidents and lawyers who walked on earth once said - "I walk slowly, but I never walk backward."
Indeed, the firm resolve to walk towards your goals is the MASTER KEY to achieving anything worthy here on earth.
So, if you are on the brink of giving up on your resolve to achieve that worthy dream of yours, listen to the great Martin Luther King Jr., as well as to the words of President Lincoln. Go into the direction of fulfillment.
