Sa plenary deliberation ng panukalang ₱11.32-billion na pondo ng Department of Information and Communications Technology - DICT, ibinahagi ni DICT Secretary Ivan Uy na sa ika-5 ng Disyembre ay magkakaroon ng public hearing para sa pagbalangkas ng Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) ng SIM Registration Law (RA 11934).

Sa kanyang mensahe, hinikayat rin ng Pangulo ang mga miyembro ng APEC na pabilisin ang pagtugon sa mga polisiya para malabanan ang epekto ng pandemya at kaguluhan sa ibang parte ng mundo.

Ang mga kita mula sa sektor ng turismo ay lumampas sa P100 bilyon dahil mahigit dalawang milyong turista ang bumisita sa bansa mula nang muling buksan ang mga hangganan nito para sa leisure travel noong Pebrero ng taong ito, ang Department of Tourism (DOT).

Ayon sa DOT, may kabuuang 2,025,421 visitor arrivals ang na-monitor sa bansa noong Nobyembre 14. Sa mga numero, 73.43% o 1,487,343 ang mga dayuhang turista habang 26.57% o 538,078 ang mga overseas Filipinos.

Ang pinakahuling datos ng ahensya ay nagpakita rin ng mga bisitang dumating mula Pebrero hanggang Setyembre 2022 na umabot sa tinatayang P100.7 bilyon, mas mataas sa P4.94 bilyon na naitala para sa parehong panahon noong nakaraang taon.
