How we started...

Chef Dad's: A Testimony Worth Sharing

A pandemic that would affect both health, businesses, schools and even government- that is what COVID-19 gave as a surprise at the first quarter of the year. Last March 16, 2020, the government placed the National Capital Region under Enhanced Community Quarantine. This resulted to the closure of certain companies and businesses like malls, department stores and hotels. Later on, the community quarantine protocols were implemented throughout the entire Philippines. This dreaded disease continued to claim and affect millions of lives worldwide.

It is under these circumstances that Chef Dad's was born.

The man behind Chef Dad's, who himself is also fondly called "Chef Dad", is one of the millions of people affected by this event, being a "no work-no pay" employee that needs to feed and provide for his family. He never lost hope, however, for he believes that he has a powerful Provider Who is the Lord God above. As he and his family prayed and ask God for continued provision and sustenance for their family, the Lord answered their prayers by giving them wisdom to start a small business. Using his knowledge and culinary skills specialty in Japanese food, Chef Dad started to get the kitchen going. Thus, Chef Dad's came to be.
