Replacement Plates (Green to White Plates) – Land Transportation Office – National Capital Region A Replacement Plate is the white plate that replaces the old green plate to standardize the plates of all registered vehicles in the country. Road Safety Seminar, 9AM to 12PM of 04 December 2023, in collaboration with the Tricycle Operations Regulatory Office of Local Government of Pasig City. Attended by over 200 participants : TORO Personnel, officers and members from various TODA of Pasig City. Grateful for the warm accomodation, breakfast and lunch, courtesy of Hon. Cong. Roman T. When I personally announced early this month that the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has sufficient supply of plastic cards that is enough to wipe out the backlog on physical driver’s licenses, there was a jubilation both on the side of the men and women of the LTO family who have been at the receiving end of frustrations of the affected motorists, and on the side of our clients who finally saw a ray of light that finally, the problem that primarily affect them would be solved.

I felt that sigh of relief not only as the LTO Chief, but also as an owner of a driver’s license which is a very important proof of identity for all the essential transactions that ordinary Filipinos have to deal with in both government and private entities.

With the issuance of the Writ of Preliminary Injunction, we are again taking away that hope for normalcy from millions of our affected and would-be affected kababayans, especially with the uncertainty at this point as to when the case would be resolved with finality.

Wala man ako sa LTO nang mag-umpisa ang problemang ito, ramdam na ramdam ko ang epekto nito sa ating mga kababayan lalo na at galing ako sa transport sector bago pumasok sa ahensyang ito.

In this regard and on behalf of the millions of our clients, I personally extend my appeal to the Allcards, Inc. not to pursue the case it filed anymore for the sake of the Filipino people who are at the core of both our mission and vision to have easier and convenient way of life through reliable technology platforms.

While the government is ready to go on any prolonged legal battles on the issue and to exhaust all the available legal remedies to address this problem, wala namang mawawala sa pagpapakumbaba para sa kapakanan ng milyong-milyon nating mga kababayan na apektado nito.

LTO vows to help in preventing entry of smuggled vehicles

In line with the directive of Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, Land Transportation Office (LTO) Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II has vowed to assist in the campaign against smuggling of vehicles into the country.

For a start, Mendoza said they will strengthen coordination with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) which is the lead agency in the government’s crackdown against smuggling.

The coordination with the BOC, according to Mendoza, will pave the way for the LTO to ensure that no smuggled vehicles would be registered in any LTO offices across the country.

“Palalakasin natin ang ating ugnayan sa BOC upang mapigilan ang pagpasok ng smuggled na sasakyan hindi lamang sa Visayas kung hindi sa buong bansa. I call on our regional directors and district heads to maintain close coordination with the BOC in your areas,” Mendoza said.

“The LTO will provide all the necessary assistance to the BOC in ensuring that all imported motor vehicles are properly documented,” he added.

The fight against smuggled vehicles also means preventing and eradicating criminal activities, Mendoza said.

Mendoza also called on the public to report any information that they may find helpful in preventing the entry of smuggled vehicles.

“Kung kayo ay may alam tungkol sa mga smuggled na sasakyan, ipagbigay-alam ninyo agad sa mga awtoridad upang aming maaksyunan agad,” Mendoza said.

Ngayong balik eskwela na, mainam nang malaman ang mga kinakailangan para sa pag-angkas ng isang bata sa motorsiklo kapag dumadaan sa pampublikong kalsada.

Sabi nga ni G*t. Jose Rizal "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan" kaya hangad namin na makarating nang ligtas ang kabataan sa kanilang paroroonan.
