I never thought we'd do that much physical research to design a brand's visual identity.

When Harvey & Friends approached us with their unique concept, we knew we had to take a deep dive into both the petcare industry and the skin care industry. Our team immersed ourselves in looking at brands within both spaces - from searching e-commerce sites for brands we didn't even know, to going to a pet bazaar one weekend just to get the vibe down.

Luckily, everyone on the team then were fur parents and we had one teammate interested in cosmetics and skin care. Its always a nice benefit when research feels more like a quick stroll than a work task. ☺️

Striking the balance between standing out and staying recognizable in your industry is our favorite challenge!

For Harvey & Friends, the objective was to design the identity in a way that it looked adorable like a lot of the brands in the pet industry but also in a way that it projected a natural skin care brand.
