Putting the "POW" in Powder Room.

A careful selection of lighting fixture and color temperature can turn a powder room from simple to extra.

Neutral and Natural.

Just like the exterior, the interior is a juxtaposition of organic elements and heavy vertical planes. Loose wood furniture and accent pieces are proposed to be reclaimed and distressed timber from the area, crafted bespoke to this home.

A play on volume, plane, and material. The seemingly heavy walls are contrasted with organic and wooden elements. The horizontality of the façade is broken-up with the use of vertical brise-soleil and the superimposed stairwell in glass curtain wall.

It's functionality in consonance with aesthetics.

Material and Planar Exploration.

Here is a façade study we did for this luxe locale project. It's a play on cubic volumes and rectangular planes juxtaposed with organic texture and sleek brise-soleil details.

The best way we analyze a structure is through its cross section. Doing this on the on-set of the design process helps us, as well as our clients, visualize the vertical relationship of the spaces.

This home is delineated into 4 zones: the communal, private, penthouse, and roof deck with each level assigned to a specific spatial function and intent.

Luxe Locale.

A living space curated with the use of neutral tones (whites, greys, beiges) and natural accent (wood, stone) creating a timeless interior that is classy and refined.

It is holistic. Seamlessly connected from exterior to interior.

"Neutral and Chill"

A mood board is our canvas where we put together a range of sample of different materials to capture the design concept; aesthetically and functionally.

We verbally explain each swatches to our client but for this post, we found it easier to just annotate our board.

We ensure that EVERY client's needs are fulfilled. Here she is excited and chill during our site meeting.

Blackbox Creatives designed this pediatric orthodontic clinic to be kid-friendly and adult-approved by using dynamic shapes, bright colors, yet carefully curated patches and pieces.

We believe that a space is more than just functionality and aesthetics; it is an experience. So a kid's visit to the dentist will not be a nightmare anymore - it is something he or she will look forward to.

Tropical Chic.

This very own Blackbox Creatives remote hideout in Legazpi is a literal one step away from nature - with a panoramic view of the forest, the beach, and the Mayon. The overall design is influenced by vernacular materials abundant in the property, with large operable glass windows seamlessly transitioning the site into the airy interiors.

The sophisticatedly modern interiors is accentuated with indigenous materials like the sawali, reclaimed and repurposed solid wood, and upscale rattan pieces - all in partnership with Kaitó
