La Sagesse Rehabilitation and Development Center held a Fire Safety Seminar and Drill in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) today, October 27, 2023.

BFP Fire Officer 1 Alfred Jude B. Lapitan and Fire Officer 2 Lorelie Anne V. Tabur served as resource speakers during the seminar. They discussed about the types and causes of fire, shared tips and fire safety information for home and school and spearheaded the simulated fire and earthquake drill right after the seminar.

Students together with their parents performed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” method as one of the immediate actions during an earthquake.

Afterward, they exercised what they learned during the fire safety seminar, including the proper use of a firefighting hose and fire extinguishers.

Cleaning tools (broom, dustpan, sponge, brush, cloth rags, zonrox, bleach, bar soap, detergent soap, sosa, disinfection spray, alcohol)
