Gibraltar π¬π§
Gibraltar is a British (United Kingdom) Overseas Territory located at the southern tip of Iberian Peninsula. It has an area of 2.6 sq mi. (6.7 sq.km.) and is bordered to the North by Spain.
It's dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, a 426m-high limestone ridge where Europa Point Lighthouse located at the entrance of the Gibraltar bay.
In 1704, Gibraltar was captured from Spain and ceded to Great Britain in 1714 under the Treaty of Utrecht.

Algeciras is a municipality of Spain under the Province of CΓ‘diz. Located southern part of Spain and west of Gibraltar Bay. Also one of the largest industrial hub in Europe. Mostly vessels call for bunkering and cargo transhipment.

Passing Panama Canal Neopanamax Locks for the first time.
My last Panama Canal Transit was on 2016 passing the old Panamax Lock (Gatun & Miraflores Lock).
The Panama Canal (Canal de PanamΓ‘) is an artificial waterway that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean and divides North and South America. One of the largest and most significant engineering marvel in maritime trade that greatly reduces the travel time between the Atlantic and Pacific ports which was completed in 1914, the Gatun Lock and Miraflores Lock.
Panama Canal Expansion created the Neopanamax Locks namely Agua Clara Lock on Atlantic side and Cocoli Lock on Pacific side inagurated and opened in 2016 accommodating larger ships than the previous Panamax size increasing the length, depth and width. The Neopanamax Canal offers greater connectivity in world maritime trade.
