DID YOU KNOW that Solo Parents are entitled to Parental Leave of 7 work days every year with full pay? 🤓

The parental leave, in addition to leave privileges under existing laws, shall be for 7 work days every year, with full pay, consisting of basic salary and mandatory allowances fixed by the Regional Wage Board, if any, provided that his/her pay shall not be less than the mandated minimum wage.

A Solo Parent Employee shall be entitled to the Parental Leave, provided that:
1. He/she has rendered at least one (1) year of service, whether continuous or broken;
2. He/she has notified his/her Employer that he/she will avail
himself/herself of it, within a reasonable period of time; and
3. He/she has presented to his/her Employer a Solo Parent Identification Card, which may be obtained from the DSWD office of the City or Municipality where he/she resides.

10 counts. This is a 10 second time given to move at a command as fast as he can.

Essence: If you learned how to move fast. You will learn how to think and will help you decode things in a snap!

Tinutubig. An activity in which the body is filled with water by taking in a lot, as in a lot of water.

Essence: Water is life! So drink a lot of water. Totoo naman to e. Matigas lang ulo mo. Kala mo pinipilit ka lang or pinapahirapan. Para sayo yan! Para sa katawan mo! Para iwas dehydration!

Pinapahirapan. Luhh! Mahirap naman talaga ang buhay. Mas pinapahirap? Mas satisfying!

Essence: If you know how to suffer you will enjoy success inch by inch.

Binubugbog. Physically (massive exercises) and psychologically.

Essence: They made you stronger. Ang mahalaga buhay ka! What doesn't kill you make you stronger.

Sinisigawan. Not all people know how to speak gently. Instructions are given in a loud tone of voice. Sometimes people who speak gently aren't obeyed. And we need to be honest, we follow orders easily when we are pressured.

Essence: When he/she shouts at you; You know that he/she is just determined to be obeyed.

People must always look on the positive rationale of everything. Tough times? Unless you quit, you will never know how it ends; what's there after.
