Skills workouts are usually frustrating for players who are trying to learn the little details of the move. We often see players get mad at themselves and often give up without even perfecting just one run.
As you will see in the last clip, after 45 long minutes of doing countless repetitions of the same exact combination of moves, one of the students FINALLY completes a run. His teammates celebrated him for attaining the move and for making the shot. Resiliency, willingness and focus are the main ingredients in trusting the process of everyday progress.
This is what our academy is all about - we are a brotherhood. We eliminate the hate, humiliation and demotivation. We cheer for each other, give high fives when one achieves something, and celebrate the growth of one another, because small wins everyday will eventually turn into big wins someday.
