Cardamom is one of the most ancient spices in the world. The cardamom pods which contain the flavorful seeds originate from the lands of southern India. This zesty spice, baked in a sweet dessert bun, then becomes a yummy Swedish treat. 😉

Buns are soft and chewy. Then medyo mapaglaro ung lasa kase sasabog sya sa bibig mo. There’s this citrusy and zesty flavor in every bite, then may minty flavor din na sisipa, and then of course, the sweet and buttery experience is there too. 😋

Medyo iba ung lasa nya for me in a good way kasi diba okay din ung minsan, nae-explore natin ung different tastes. 😁

MY CARDABUNS DEFYING GRAVITY 😱

Cardabuns is their take on the Swedish delicacy Cardamom Buns.

These buns are soft and sweet but with a twist, you can definitely taste the spice cardamom, it's very citrusy and somehow the vanilla glaze and the butter and brown sugar filling inside tone it down a little. The powdered sugar on top is also a nice touch. However, you can't really see a lot in my photos since some of it melted during shipping.

Cardamom somehow takes away the umay factor because of its zesty quality. It also keeps you wanting more. If you're up for an adventure, give this baby a go after all it's not something that you get to see (and taste) everyday.

P.S. I didn't pair this with coffee or tea since I wanted to taste it on its own and I didn't get the chance to share it with anybody else because the matakaw in me ate it all. 🤣🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
