I called "Lumakad Ka" at first as "Lakad". Would you have a clue as to why I changed the title from being a passive statement to a more commanding one? 🤔

I finished writing a new song called "Lakad" and it's for a film about Teenage Pregnancy! This is part of Optimum Minds Media Productions project that aims to raise awareness on social issues such as these. 💛

Life sometimes teaches us lessons and sometimes we have to learn the hard way. Mistakes will be made, bridges will be burned, but remember to never look down. Chin up! Move forward! Rests are essential too but remember that forward is always the way to go. 💚

Hi, I'm back!! And I'm releasing a new song for you guys! The song is "Lumakad Ka". 🚶🏻‍♂️
I wrote it as a reminder for us all to keep moving forward.

There will be times in our lives where we will make mistakes and will feel like we've fallen down. Life gives us different sorts of troubles. But as long as we breathe, remember that life is kind of like a journey. It has ups and downs, smooth and rough patches, straight and swirly roads. Sometimes we stumble and fall and that's okay! I believe we all do. But don't ever lose sight of what's ahead. "Keep moving forward!" as one of my favorite movies says. "Lumakad ka" out on September 18! ❤️

October 29, 2022 was one off the bucket list for me. I got to perform at YAKĀ for the National Indigenous Peoples Month! Along with Ms. Bayang Barrios at ang Naliyagan , Haring Gangis , and Ayani Saway ! ❤️ This was the first ever time I performed "Isang Boses" with its final structure, translation, and rhythm! 🎵 First times are always super memorable. Especially when it's an out of town gig, miles away from home! I hope that the people who were there that night got the message of my song and started being voices for other people as well! Remember, "Isang Boses lang ang simula, tatawag 'yan ng iba pa"! 💛

Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion was my first time hosting a screening of Click, Like, and Share for Optimum Minds Media Productions 💛 Ahh, I miss this school so much! 🩵 The nervousness and the excitement were mixed up inside me because not only was this my first time hosting for a screening, it was also my first time singing ISANG BOSES in public! To sing one of your compositions for the first time in front of a large crowd is nerve-wracking. 😬 "Will they like it?" "Will they not?" "How will they react to this?" By this time, Isang Boses was still called "A Tiny Voice". It was still in english and was specifically for our film about called "Hi-Five".
Looking back, I didn't know I could raise awareness with just my guitar and a song I wrote. Now, you can listen to this song on Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube Music! 🥹🫶🏻 For those who think their voices are too small for others to hear.
