We often take our eyes for granted. Do you know that even if your eyes feel healthy, you could have a problem and not know it. That is because many eye diseases do not have any symptoms or warning signs. The human eye can detect 10 million different colors; but 1 in 8 males may be color blind. The older we get, the less tears we produce. Learn more eye-mazing facts about the eye and how to care for them better with opthalmologist and glaucoma specialist Dr. Edgar Leuenberger on September 5, 2024, "Healthy Eyes and Warning Signs" 4:00pm-5:00pm, Faber Hall 302. "By providing public health education to improve awareness among women of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and, together with their families, understand the importance of early detection and treatment, more women would consult medical practitioners when breast cancer is first suspected, and before any cancer present is advanced. This is possible even in the absence of mammographic screening that is impractical in many countries at the present time."
