We wish to express our sincerest apology for the discomfort our two restaurants have caused our friends, patrons, and guests. The Mothers’ Day is a cherished tradition that we celebrate nationwide. We have made provisions to what we expected a sudden influx of friends, patrons, and guests on this day. But we did not expect the sudden increase in yesterday’s celebration of the people who gave us birth in this world and nurtured us through the year.

In brief, the sheer number of people, who flocked to the two restaurants on this special day beat us. It was a day of lesson for us. There is no reason to justify the discomfort. In Sangkalan, we treat our friends, patrons, and guests as gods. They are the main reason we are in this business. Again, our sincerest apology. This won’t happen again.

Our Story

From food stalls to restaurant.

Sangkalan Grill Restaurant is owned by CMPP Food Corporation, a family owned business established in 1987. Starting out with humble food stalls in Metro Manila malls dubbed as mommy's best and later to country basket. CMPP Food Corporation gave birth to its first Filipino restaurant Sangkalan Grill Restaurant in 1991 in Visayas avenue, Quezon City.

Twenty nine (29) years of quality food and exceptional service.

Today, operating for 29 years, Sangkalan has developed a steady client base. More importantly, Sangkalan and our friendly staff have built lasting relationships with our customers. Other than our outstanding food, we provide personalized service to our customers- a quality that sets up apart from the rest of our competitors.

To better serve our customers, we bring our well loved food right into their event through our catering service. Over the years, our clients have made us a part of their wedding, debut, birthdays, baptism and company parties.
