Today, our Grade 1 pupils celebrate their feast day in honor of Santo Niño. “The Santo Niño devotion is a reminder to all of us of the humility of Christ. Christ humbled himself. He was God yet became a little child. He was innocent and without sin yet he suffered and died on the cross for us sinners. Let us imitate the Santo Niño in his humility, a humility seen in little children everywhere, and place ourselves under God’s rule and entrust ourselves to his mercy.” PRAYER: Holy Child Jesus, You shed Your blessings on whoever invokes Your name, look kindly on us who kneel humbly before Your holy Image, and hear our prayers.
