Our Story: Who we are & What we do!

About the Company

The Lockbox Acoustic Production is a company providing quality, tailored-fit and affordable music entertainment services for more than 14 years. We cater to events like weddings, debut/birthdays, corporate events, parties, Harana (Serenade), get together-events, bookings for bar/hotel gigs and many more. We also provide Hosting/MC services, Jingle/Song composition for campaigns and established businesses, recorded and live voice-over services (audio commercials) and music and voice/music recording package.

The Founder and The Lockbox Acoustic Production

The founder is a professional singer. He worked as a solo performer in Japan and did front acts for few known artists. Before his OFW life, he performed and still locally performing in NCR, CAR and Region 1 to 4. He performs in weddings, birthdays, corporate events, parties, Harana (Serenade), bar/hotel gigs and many more. He also does Hosting/MC services, Jingle/Song composition for campaigns and established businesses, recorded and live voice-over services (audio commercials). To date, He had performed and still performing with few known names in the music industry.

When he was in Japan, he does not know anyone aside from his Japanese colleagues. On his first month, he felt home sick, so when his day-off came, he decided to go out. On his stroll, he saw a crowed of Filipinos in a Sakura Zaka Park. To his excitement, he went to them and introduced himself. At that day he made a lot Filipino friends. All of the Filipinos he met at that day are all singers, musicians, artist and dancers. He was really happy because he made a lot of friends who had the same interest and passion as him. At that point of time he no longer felt home sick because his friends back then helped him a lot to not feel the struggle of being alone far from home.

After his contract ended, he went home in the Philippines and pursued a different career which is in the corporate world. Even he is busy in his career, he kept his communications with his friends from Japan. 2005, Japan had started to close its door to Filipino talents. That is the time when almost all of his OFW friends from Japan went home, Jobless. Jay felt really sad of seeing his friends having no livelihood to keep. He spent days thinking of a way on how to help them to have a generating income as he also at that time has limited financial resources to lend them. Then one day, an idea came and from that day The Lockbox Acoustic Production was born.

The Lockbox Acoustic Production (TLAP) is a musician & talents pooling community and is intended to promote local undiscovered artist with incredible natural talents. It aims to generate regular gig to artist that doesn’t have any regular jobs or are working as a full time artist.

The founder's vision is to hone the talents and discover their strengths so that they would be able to be competitive while being passionate on their crafts. He also aim to connect them to the limelight of the events industry and other entertainment entrepreneurs so that they can generate a recurring livelihood.

However since the Covid-19 pandemic, the events, entertainment & hospitality industry have been totally impacted and were forced to shut down their operations to prevent the disease from spreading. With this being said, many of the events, entertainment & hospitality business right now are forced to think of a solution to sustain its income both for artist/employees and their company.

The Lockbox Acoustic Production has come up of a way to reinvent the company to retain their entertainment and service oriented business to fit the needs of the clients even in this time of the pandemic. The company is currently providing services which are essential to online events and businesses.
