ROMERO REST HOUSE

Situated on a farm lot, the designer opted to took inspiration from a Cabin House, which is defined as a shelter or house made of wood, situated in a wild or remote area. Altering the definition, the use of steel and glass instead of wood as a main material has given us the opportunity to maximize the nature outside, bringing indoors, thus creating a sense of place in the setting and blend in nature.

URBAN TOWNHOUSE QC

Quezon City is well known for its townhouse developments. We come up with the idea of bringing the Scandinavian Design in this development, for us to be distinctive to adjacent developments. Situated in a two 200 sqm lot (400sqm in total), the architect managed to situate 4 townhouse units which comes up with a courtyard for each development.

The commonality of duplex houses is two identical structures in 1 lot, from its mirrored facade and plan. By breaking this conventional way of design is to give the buyers to have their own option. Their own unique home catered to their needs and for the demand of a growing family in the future - to fit as more standard bedrooms as possible in a 75sqm lot (each unit). Resulting into a different approach of practicality, efficacy in plan and future proof design.

Given a 200sqm lot, we decided to use half of the property only, for our building footprint (105 sq.m. ground floor), leaving the entire remaining lot for open space, a vegetable garden, a 2-car carport and even for a kubo (as hangout area).

We wanted to envision this project to embrace a province-like setting, distant from the usual stress and inferno of our urban setting - to return home and take a rest in the relaxation of your forever home.

LANCRIS CONDOMINIUM GYM

The presence of Tangerine Color as an accent stimulates activity which is evident on the walls and beam crossing - which then turned into an arch creating a subtle boundary between the cardio area and resistance training area. Further, Led Droplights placed obliquely, serves as an accent and break from the monotonous lines created by Drop Aluminum Slats.
