"Steampunk Salvage" is my entry to Obra sa Basura, an art competition hosted by The Philippine Star and Robinsons Malls. It'll be on display in Robinsons Galleria at Artablado until June 15, along with the works many incredible artists!

Caught up with the series yesterday and had the time to draw something 👽✨🔥 (i miss his red suit)

Sa Laban ng Tsuper, Kasama Ang Komyuter!

Originally, ginawa ko yung komik na toh para sa anthology ng GRAIL and base sa experience ko bilang isang komyuter sa Pilipinas. Kung ngayon palang, ganitong kalala na ang sitwasyon ng pagkokomyut sa Pilipinas, paano pa kaya pagdating ng January kung saan 64,000 drivers at 24,000 operators ang mawawalan ng trabaho dahil sa PUV Modernization Program?

Hanggat hindi makatao ang pagiimplimenta ng PUVMP, hinding-hindi ito matatawag na progress para sa bayan.

Inactive since start of the sem but hey, nakagawa ako ng komik 🫣

Sasabit man sa jeep, sisiksik sa MRT -- lahat ay gagawin para makadalo sa sa December 2-3! 😭✊

"May kasabihang “the windows are the eyes to the soul”, at ninanais kong maging bintana ang likhang ito sa damdamin at saloobin ng mga estudyanteng nag-aaral sa kalagitnaan ng pandemya. Madalas ay inaakala ng iba na suwerte sa kabataan ang distance learning, sapagkat kami’y nasa bahay lang. Kasama ang paggamit ng internet, mas lalong inaakala na sisiw lang mag-aral sapagkat nasa iisang click lang ang kasagutan sa aming mga katanungan. Ngunit, hindi laging ganito. Burn-out at kalumbayan mula sa pag-aaral mag-isa ang kapalit ng inaakalang “maginhawang” kondisyon ng mga studyante sa distance learning. "

Maari ngang para sa ikabubuti ng kalikasan at kaligtasan ng mga komyuter ang pagbago ng disenyo ng mga jeepney, ngunit ang pamamalakad nito ay hindi makatao. Mababaon lang sa utang ang mga tsuper at mga operators kung sila'y bibili ng mga bagong unit. Perwisyo lang ang dulot nito hindi lang sa mga tsuper at operators, pero sa mga komyuter na rin.
