SELENOPHILE BAND
Selenophile, a very promising band from Montalban, Rizal.. promoting the beauty of OPM Songs, was founded in the year 2019. The band is composed of 5 members namely Jhonsteve Doligol as the vocalist, Patrick Rey De Castro as the rhythm guitarist, Mervin Villocillo as the lead guitarist, Ivan Trinidad as the bass guitarist, and Ralph Alagon as the drummer.
Competing in the very first Battle of the Bands they joined as a group way back April 27, 2019. The band already proved their talents for taking the stage as the champions of the event. Eventually, making them one of the most invited bands to play during the important events in the Municipality of Rodriguez.
The name of the band was derived from the Greek words 'Selene' (moon) and 'Philo' (love) which depicts band's love for the moon. The heavenly body symbolizes the group's foundation of inspiration aspiring to be recognized and be loved by the people who will hear their music.
Selenophile remains active until today determined to continue making inspirations, spread love to their undying supporters, creates happiness through the art of music, and establish their dreams in the field of music industry.
