Ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ay sumusuporta sa ika-50 taong pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon, na may temang "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!"

Tuon ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon ang kahalagahan nang Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023-2028 at ang pagkakaroon nito ng matibay na suporta mula sa iba’t ibang lebel ng sektor upang maisakatuparan ang layunin nitong masugpo ang lahat ng uri ng malnutrisyon sa ating bansa.

Sa pagtataguyod ng 2024 Nutrition Month campaign, inaanyayahan ng DepEd ang mga Regional at Schools Division Offices, kabilang ang mga paaralan na makiisa at magbigay ng kanilang suporta para sa PPAN.

Kaya’t mga ka-Deped, halina't makiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon ngayong Hulyo para sa mas malusog na kinabukasan ng lahat, lalo na nang ating mga mag-aaral!

ADVISORY

In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of school year is fast-approaching, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 15-16, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

Parents and guardians in Romblon are encouraged to register their children early for the upcoming School Year 2024-2025, as the Department of Education (DepEd) launches the early registration campaign across public schools in the province.

The Schools Division of Romblon announced that early registration will commence from January 27 to February 23, 2024. This initiative aims to ensure that all school-age children, including those with disabilities and those belonging to indigenous cultural communities, are enrolled in the next academic year.

The early registration process is open to incoming Kindergarten, Grades 1 to 12, and Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners. Parents and guardians are urged to visit their respective barangay schools or designated registration centers to facilitate the enrollment of their children.

Ang buwan ng Marso ay Fire Prevention Month!

Kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ng buong bansa sa pagpapalakas ng kampanya upang maiwasan ang sunog, lalo na ngayong Fire Prevention Month.

May temang “Sa pag-iwas sa sunog, hindi ka nag-iisa,” patuloy na pinatatatag ng DepEd ang pagpapatupad sa mga programa sa paaralan na nagbibigay ng kaalaman kung paano maiiwasan at ano ang mga sanhi, hazards, at panganib ng sunog.
