ADVISORY FROM THE NATIONAL LEADERSHIP OF LGBT PILIPINAS:

To All Our Allied LGBT Orgs, Federations and Chapters Across the Country,

This is to officially advise all LGBT networks under our umbrella org and alliance that the National Leadership has decided to DEFER our PARTYLIST bid for 2022. In short, we will not be fielding our partylist nominees for next year's elections after due consultation with all of our chapters, federations and allied LGBT orgs across the country. We have decided to focus more on providing assistance and organizational capacity-building at the moment.

LGBT Pilipinas has been in existence since 2016 and has actively pushed for empowerment of LGBT orgs esp in the rural countryside. This is evidenced by our ever expanding membership and broad base over the years. We are a SEC-registered national organization and was recognized by no less than our beloved President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Of late, there have been groups positioning themselves for LGBT partylist representation in next year's elections. Our attention was called in regard to a certain "LGBTQ+ Partylist".

PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT OUR ORG, LGBT Pilipinas Party-list IS NOT IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER CONNECTED TO THIS PURPORTED PARTYLIST.

We advise all our LGBT Leaders across the country to pls practice restraint in engaging with them and to report to us any activities that unnecessarily drag the name of our organization.
