After a chest-to-chest race from the start to finish line in the men's 200, Guhan Garcia also showed tremendous speed in the men's 100 in the 2024 National ROTC games in Indang Cavite at Cavite State University.

On August 8, 2024, the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation, Inc. (VMUF) and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in San Carlos City signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide scholarships to deserving Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). This initiative aims to offer educational opportunities and support to PDLs under VMUF’s flagship Project M.A.R.T.I.N.: Transforming Lives, Education Behind Bars, enabling them to pursue higher education and improve their prospects for reintegration into society. The partnership underscores VMUF’s commitment to transformative education and social responsibility, while BJMP continues to advocate for the rehabilitation and development of PDLs through meaningful programs.
