HEALTHIEST PREGGY FERNANDINA 2024 🤰🏻🤰🏼🤰🏽

The City of San Fernando once again celebrated the pregnant Fernandinas and highlighted the importance of healthy and responsible pregnancy on July 6, 2024, at Robinsons Starmills.

In this year’s event, Ilona Jane Abella from Barangay Saguin was crowned Healthiest Preggy Fernandina 2024, beating 10 other pregnant mothers from different barangays. Abella was also awarded Best in Talent.

During the question and answer portion, Abella was asked about the importance of breastfeeding. As a soon-to-be mother of four, she shared her experience of breastfeeding her three sons and noted the benefits of breastfeeding for both the mother and the baby.

Joining her in the winners' circle are Rieza Sibayan of Barangay Maimpis, who won First Runner-Up and Best in Long Gown, and Angelika Barnuevo of Barangay San Nicolas, who was awarded Second Runner-Up and Best in Casual Wear.

2024 INTER-BARANGAY ZUMBASOG

As part of the continuous efforts of the City Government of San Fernando to promote a healthier lifestyle, an Inter-Barangay Zumbasog competition was held today, July 24, at the Mini Convention Center, Heroes Hall.

Thirteen (13) barangays, composed of kababaihan members, competed in the Zumba contest. City Mayor, Hon. Vilma B***e Caluag, and City Councilor, Hon. Brenz Gonzales, also graced the event.

After showcasing their fun and impressive moves and grooves, the following barangays were awarded:

Champion: Barangay San Pedro
1st Runner Up: Barangay Bulaon
2nd Runner Up: Barangay Dolores

Special Awards:

Top 5 Most Energetic (during the dance showdown):
Barangay Sto. Niño,
Barangay Dolores,
Barangay Del Carmen,
Barangay Del Rosario, and
Barangay San Pedro

Best in Costume:
Barangay San Pedro

Best in Costume Runner Ups:

The City Government of San Fernando is adopting the Provincial Government of Pampanga's order suspending government work and classes in all levels today, July 24, 2024.

Provided that, City Government offices which involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

Private companies located within the City of San Fernando, using their respective suspension guidelines, may also suspend work in their offices to provide safety among their employees.
