N.B. Grade 10 Completers from Public Schools and ESC- Recipient Schools are exempted from this application.

Consider the profession that you will spend the rest of your life with. The three things we should consider in choosing our career are our heart, mind, and money. As Ms. Meg Cabrera asks students on which we will choose either money or mind, the majority answers with the word money. It is true that money should come first when choosing a career, but do not forget the mind and heart too. She said that the heart should be considered because we will be the ones who suffer while studying; if we do not like the program, we will suffer even more. The mind should be considered too, because we know that not everything the heart wants the brain can do.Lastly, money always considers our social and economic status. She told us to choose our career wisely because it will affect most of our lives. Also, she said to live life with no regrets because being an adult is not all about failures but all about routine.

When Mr. Gebrel Al Bari told us that there is no easy way to go when you dream high, we should dream free. Testing our limits and engaging with the new world because it can be our weapon, just like having empathy more than excellence. Giving us that our purpose in life is to fight for other people and not only for ourselves.

“I’m sure you’ll do well; the deeper the pain, the better you’ll become.” Giving factors for what program we should choose, Ms. Precious David said that we should first discover our purpose, whether it is positive or negative, when considering our course. Second, the experiences of others that inspired us, just like how they gave advice and shared their experiences with us during the event. Third, consider our skills, knowledge, and other capabilities that will fit our program to make it the best fit for us. Lastly, listen to what our hearts tell us.

As Ms. Kriza Lalu talked about the growth we will experience, choosing our career program should match our interests and consider the job opportunities in the future. She also tipped us to do research on the course we will take, ask for the higher years in that program, and see if the attitude and behavior of our program should match ours. Also, she stated that “Surround yourself with positive people and a positive environment.”

When life does not go the way you want or others want, Ms. Ysabel David advises us to be brave. If we need to go against the flow, then so be it.

When Mr. Vince Gamboa said that by taking a decision to do something that you may not like or love at first, you can learn to love it. Just find a reason to love it, because life is about growing.

As Engineer John Carlo Borela inspires us to see the bigger the risk the bigger the reward we will see or receive he also encourages us to not be afraid of failures because it is the part of the process that we cannot control for the future thus we can only prepare for it.

The Senior High School Guidance and Admission Office recently conducted a career orientation entitled “Life after Senior High: Crafting Your Own Success Story” to assist our grade 12 students in deciding on and selecting the best path for their college programme and future profession. The UASHS graduates were also invited to talk about their experiences in the college programmes they chose, as well as how UASHS assisted them in reaching their career aspirations. Following are some of their thoughts that motivated the grade 12 students during the career orientation.

As we navigate the changing seasons, it has come to our attention that a number of our students are experiencing symptoms such as cold, cough, and sore eyes. Your well-being is our top priority, and we want to ensure that you take the necessary precautions to stay healthy.

If you are showing any symptoms, we strongly advise you to:

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟: Rest, stay hydrated, and take appropriate over-the-counter medications if needed.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬: In the spirit of community and care, please refrain from coming to school if you're exhibiting symptoms. This helps protect both you and your classmates.

The midterm exams have finally ended! 🎉 Congratulations everyone, for making it this far! You’ve made it through the week! 🥳 Now, we are here to remind you that today is a rest day. We know and understand that there are still some learning tasks to accomplish, but make sure to find time for yourself today and have a good rest. 🫡 Don’t forget to give yourself a break. “The deadline will be on..." As the midterm exam approaches, there are left and right deadlines that we have to meet before and after the examination. The pressure is on, but let's not forget to prioritize our mental health for our own selves. Remember not to normalize having good grades with an unstable mental health. We are worth it regardless of the marks that we will get. Here are some tips to lessen being pressured so our brain will keep into motion and not feel burnt out when studying.
