KAPAMPANGAN KU!! PAGMARAGUL KU!!
Luid ka! Pakamalan kung Pampanga!!!
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Pampanga Day is the annual celebration of the founding of the province since its establishment by Spanish authorities dating back December 11, 1571. It is celebrated on the 11th day of December of every year by virtue of Proclamation No. 2226 which was signed on January 11,1978 by then President Ferdinand E. Marcos. Pampanga Day is also known as “Aldo Ning Kapampangan”.
Historical records show that after the Spanish conquest of Pampanga on May 24,1571 and its pacification and “reduccion” in the last months of the same year, the Spaniards inaugurated the Province of Pampanga as the first province on or about December 11,1571.
The Foundation Day usually includes cultural activities, dances, food festivals, a beauty contest, and the recognition of the “Most Outstanding Kapampangan” - a recognition given to an individual who excelled in his or her respective career and elevated the intrinsic value of being a Kapampangan.
Celebrating Pampanga Day is also a way to exhibit the province’s progress and to showcase the Capampangans' unity; making a huge impact towards a healthy, fully employed and secured population, enjoying the fruits of economic development whilst maintaining the posterity, beauty and the richness of Pampango culture and heritage.
