ANTIQUE PHILIPPINE COUNCILORS LEAGUE PRESIDENT (PCL) HON.PLARIDEL"PANOY" SANCHEZ IV ELECTED REGION 6 PCL TREASURER

Antique PCL President Panoy Sanchez of Pandan,Antique was elected Regional Treasurer of PCL Region 6 in an uncontested election during the Synchronized Regional Election held on November 23,2022 at Bai Hotel,Mandaue City,Cebu.

The exceptional show of oneness and unity of PCL Provincial and City Officers of Region 6 was praised by PCL Interim National President Hon.Handy Lao of Laoag City during his speech.PCL Region 6 was always looked upon by other Regional Chapters all over the country for the region's remarkable bond and cooperation.

Likewise elected as one of the nine(9) PCL Regional Board of Directors was SB Member Hon.Noel Dimafiles of Sebaste,Antique and Auditor of PCL Antique Chapter.

Joining PCL Pres.Sanchez and SB Dimafiles as Antique PCL Delegates to the Synchronized Regional PCL Election were SB Joey Molina of San Jose,SB Dindo John Lignig of Tobias Fornier,SB Reymund Nabalan of Sibalom,SB Popoy Medina of San Remegio,SB Felino Gauran of Sebaste,SB Ricky Lavega of Caluya and SB Jojo Dioso of Valderrama.

LGU- PANDAN: SB Member Plaridel E. Sanchez, IV as Newly elected President of PCL-Antique Chapter

As provided for by the new election guidelines and policy of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) through Resolution No. 31 approving Resolution No. 21 adopted June 17, 2019, the PCL will be conducting its Provincial Federation, city chapter and Regional Council Elections for the term 2022-2025.

September 1, 2022, Sangguniang Bayan (SB) member Plaridel E. Sanchez, IV of Pandan was the newly elected president of PCI-Antique chapter in an election held at San Jose, Antique. Out of 176 SB members in Antique, Sanchez got 130 votes, while his opponent, SB member Chris John Banusing of San Jose got 46 votes.

Sanchez, who deemed his victory as "overwhelming" assured that he will be consultative and will address concerns raised by councilors during the previous administration. Also among elected were Ricky Lavega as Vice President, Jezel Martinez, - Secretary, May Jaquelyn Otadoy - Treasurer, Noel Dimafiles- Auditor, Roberto Dioso, Jr. - PRO, and John Ralph Asoy-Business Manager. Members of the Board are following: Eva Pacificader, Joey Molina, Rodolfo Medina, Ma. Orchid Fornier, Reymond Nabalan, Arvin Salmite, Felino Gauran, and Dindo John Lignig.

The new set of officers will serve until 2025. Sanchez will also sit as Ex-Officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan representing the municipal councilors of Antique."
