ANO BA ANG NATIONAL FLAG DAYS? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻

Noong Marso 6,1965, nag-isyu ng Presidential Proclamation No.374 na nagdedeklara ng National Flag Day sa araw ng Mayo 28 kada taon bilang pag-alala sa araw na unang pagwagayway ng ating bandila noong manalo ang Philippine Revolutionary Army laban sa mga Español sa Labanan sa Alapan,Imus,Cavite noong 1898. Noong Mayo 23,1994, inilabas naman ang Executive Order No.179 upang pahabain ang pagdiriwang mula May 28 hanggang June 12. Lahat ng Pilipino ay hinihimok na maglagay ng Pambansang Watawat sa lahat ng tanggapan, gusali, at paaralan, pribado man o pampubliko.

"Tayo ay bahagi ng makasaysayang BANSA ng PILIPINAS. Nananalaytay sa ating mga UGAT ang dugong PILIPINO. Katulad ng mga Pilipino na nagbuwis ng buhay upang makamtan ang kalayaan at kasarinlan ng ating Inang Bayan, at ito ay sinisimbolo ng ating PAMBANSANG WATAWAT."
