SAMPAN LADY

Bold and beautiful, the Sampan Ladies of Vietnam fearlessly sail through life's currents, rewriting the narrative with each ripple she creates. 🌊💃 Her sampan, a floating haven of tradition, echoes tales of resilience and the beauty of simplicity.

Mekong River

Winding almost 3,000 miles from the Tibetan plateau down to the South China Sea, the Mekong River boasts the world's largest inland fishery. It accounts for up to 25 percent of the global freshwater catch and provides livelihoods for tens of millions of people.

It is built in a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Angkor (Cambodian) architectural styles. There are five buildings, two ornamental courtyards, nearly two hundred pillars, and the graves of Buddhist priests who have taken care of the pagoda. But most impressive are the giant statues of Buddha in three different poses – sitting, lying, and standing.
