We are overjoyed to be a part of the newly launched ICA Dream Center - a vibrant space and library for Pre-K and Kinder students to Dream, Read, Explore, Act, Make. The Dream Center is one of the beneficiaries of our homecoming fundraising efforts. 💙🤍 📸 :

The Cozacks ICA batch 1999 invites you to a weekend of motion, expression, and conversation.
We present to “HERSTORY: the Art Exhibit” by Jef Albea and Karen Castrillo-Villasenor.
Presenting an idealized female form, Jef Albea takes cues from his sketches using mixed medium to create sculptures and framed artworks. The woman is captured mid motion, her vesture fluttering in the wind. It is a snapshot where the viewers are allowed a glimpse into her life and loves.
A central female figure, lissom limbs extended in a balletic pose is transposed in a setting traditionally masculine through brass sculptures by Karen Castrillo-Villasenor, subverting notions of masculinity and femininity: grace in grit, grit with grace.
Cocktails will be served during the Vernissage.
The exhibit runs through from February 17 to 18, 2024.
Proceeds from this project goes to support the ICA Scholarship Foundation, ICAre retired teachers’ health fund, the MIC Wellness Center, and other beneficiaries.
