In the intervening period, Yahoo! grew, but you also grew. In a twist of fate, Yahoo! was purchased by Verizon for $4.48B in June 2017. Around this time, though, your market capitalization shot up to $729.5B.

And currently, your market cap is $1.625 Trillion, essentially becoming the world's 4th most valuable company.

Everyone should take a lesson or two from your story, Google.

First, if you won't stop from pursuing your goals and vision, you will get to the level that you never expected to be possible. From $0 to $1.625 Trillion in quarter a century is no mean feat by any measurable standards. It takes considerable amount of effort, time, skills, foresight, and vision to reach that level.

Second, if you are offered a good opportunity, listen intently the proposal, think and dream about the unlimited possibility and not the threats, do not listen to your fears but instead start to think about the possibilities.
