Be informed that at about 0850H,June 02 2021 while traversing the road, SJO3 Reynaldo Reyes together with JO1/T Jeric Morales responded to one (1) female senior citizen founded slipped and unconscious and brought to nearest hospital.

San Mateo Municipal Jail Male Dormitory introduced Baking Livelihood Program called "TinaLaya, Tinapay para sa paglaya” through the initiative of our kindhearted Municipal Jail Warden JCINSP SHINNAWI J BADA, aims for the financial assistance of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) who cannot afford to pay their Drug Dependency Examination (DDE). Since it started last January 2021 there were 20 PDL benefitted from this program.

It also trains the PDL on how to bake bread for their livelihood inside the jail. It enhances the baking skills they learned when they return to their respective communities.

In line with the yearly event of the Miss Universe 2021, The San Mateo Municipal Jail MD through the initiative of the Municipal Jail Warden JCINSP SHINNAWI J BADA, "Ms. Gay Universe 2021" was held at San Mateo Municipal Jail Male Dorm Activity Area to showcase the different talent of our LGBTQ PDL participated from different dorms. It is a simple way of IWD of this Unit headed by JO2 Gerom Arevalo C, IWD and JO1 Charmagne Lou Abarquez C, HSU and the Panel of Judges JO1 Untalan, JO1 Fiel, JO1 Octa From Female dorm and JO1 Beltran to ease the boredom and loneliness while being away from
their family.

*COVID-19 Health Protocols were observed during the event.

Ang San Mateo Municipal Jail MD, Sa pamumuno ni JCINSP SHINNAWI J BADA ay nakikiisa sa mga kapamilya nating Muslim sa pag-alala sa pagtatapos ng Ramadan.

This afternoon 9 May 2021, Through the leadership of JCINSP SHINNAWI J BADA, Municipal Warden. JO1 Charmagne Lou D Abarquez, Jail Nurse facilitated Zumba Dance Exercise to five (5) lockdown Personnel of this unit to promote physical and mental well-being in this time of pandemic.

Bilang pag gunita sa "Araw ng mga Ina", Sa pangunguna ni JCINSP SHINNAWI J BADA, Jail Warden, pinayagan ang piling PDL na makausap ang kanilang ina at asawa upang maipaabot ang kanilang pagbati.

Sa pansamantalang pag suspende ng dalaw dahil sa banta ng COVID-19 Virus ang ating mga PDL ai binigyan ng pag kakataon na maka usap ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay sa ng harap harapan sa pamamagitan ng intercom Bilang pagsunod sa COVID-19 Health Protocol.

It is a simple way of IWD of this Unit headed by JO2 Gerom Arevalo C, IWD, and JO1 Charmagne Lou Abarquez C, HSU to ease the boredom and loneliness while being away from
their family.

Through the initiative of the Municipal Jail Warden JCINSP SHINNAWI J BADA. The Indoor and Parlor games were held at SMMJ-MD Activity Center.

This activity is to reduce their sadness and lonesome feelings and replace it with fun and entertainment by playing with their co-PDL's, under the supervision of IWD staff JO2 Gerom Arevalo.

Furniture Livelihood Program called as “FurniLaya”
is continuously introduce and develop at the San Mateo Municipal Jail – Male Dorm with the initiative of JCINSP SHINNAWI J BADA, Jail Warden.

The main goal of the Furniture for a Cause Program/ Furni-Laya is to enhance the skills of PDL in doing furniture.
Thus, every piece of furniture - made by PDL – when sold likewise guarantees a qualified PDL to avail of Drug Dependency Examination (DDE) for free.

The SMMJ-MD Livelihood project which aims to help our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) on their way to freedom, Under the leadership of JCINSP SHINNAWI J BADA, Municipal Jail Warden and JSINSP CHARLES KENNETH M MAQUERA, Deputy Warden through the supervision of JO1 Marvin G Maballo, WD Officer, Selected PDL's initiate Crafting Paper Machete of Different Designs. BJMP CALABARZON personnel and wardens are not authorized to make any monetary transactions with the relatives of PDL especially with regards to their early release.
