Our Story
A couple of years ago, I sat behind a desk in a boring office. I did financial analysis - a dreadful first year of work experience for me. I had tried to do what was expected of me - to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and get a job. I was miserable. (If you are in this spot right now, do not be discouraged! Start reaching for your dreams!)
With the support of my family, I took a risk and decided to quit my job to start a nail salon - Purple Strawberries in San Pablo city @purplestrawberries. I lived like a pauper - putting all of my savings and earnings into the salon. It led me to experiment not only in hand creams but also soaps. I discovered the fantabulous world of soap-making! I attended a couple of workshops and was further inspired to start it as a business.
I had bought excess raw materials and tried to sell it in a facebook group - and voila! There were so many interested buyers. I had uncovered a niche in the market - which led me to create Raw Essentials PH! I dream of being able to find (and develop) the best raw materials and tools for those who are as passionate as I am in soap-making. I especially love using organic and natural materials - if I can find eco-friendly materials, even better!
Raw Essentials Philippines continues to grow - with the help of more family members, we expect great things to happen this year!
