In honor of 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 in May, the City Population & Development Office and the City Health Office will hold a 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐬 in line with the implementation of the Adolescent Health & Development (AHD) Program in combating the rising number of teenage pregnancy cases & Sexually transmitted diseases among adolescnets in our beloved city.

This is to 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 about preventing and reducing teen pregnancy, non-marital sexual activity, and the spread of sexually transmitted infections. The symposium will cover topics such as human sexuality, the cause and effect of teen pregnancy, mental health, healthy lifestyle practices, STI/HIV and and DeEd's Alternative Learning System to persuade OYSs to continue their education.
